MALTESE FASHION WEEK

Built in the 19th century, this building was a british naval workshop in Malta. It's now abandoned.
Its localisation, its architectural identity and its surface make this building perfect for the Maltese Fashion Week.
The set design is in the continuity of the architectural elements: the industrial columns are in the same view as the suspended catwalk. Moreover, models start their parade from the elevated part already existing. To keep this abandoned aspect, existed elements are used as set design background and some where added like a metal elevator to accentuate its industrial identity.
About material choice, unlike to the heavy visual aspect of the metal I settled glass for catwalk that gives levity thanks to its transparency.
